Being Seen and Heard at Work - Without Changing Who You Are
About the workshop
Most people are told that being seen and heard at work comes down to confidence, personality, or simply speaking up more. In reality, it’s more complex than that.
This session explores why good work is often overlooked, how visibility and influence actually work in practice, and what it takes to show up authentically—without forcing confidence or becoming someone you’re not.
Designed as a taster session, it offers an introduction to some of the key psychological dynamics that shape how we are perceived and recognised at work. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how visibility really works, along with two or three practical ways to communicate your ideas and contributions so they land more effectively—without changing who you are.
