Route overview

Starting from the Surrey Scholar statue in Guildford High Street, we'll leave the town behind and make our way towards Newlands Corner. The route follows a mix of woodland paths, countryside trails, and open farmland, offering fantastic views across the Surrey Hills and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the landscape.

As we make our way through the countryside, there'll be time to chat, connect with fellow walkers, and enjoy a relaxed pace together. The route combines gentle climbs, scenic viewpoints, and peaceful trails before returning to Guildford town centre for a well-earned coffee and catch-up.

What to bring

Comfortable walking boots or trail shoes, weather-appropriate layers, snacks, and water. The route includes uneven terrain, woodland paths, and some moderate climbs and descents.
