Chinese New Year but make it slow 🧧🍵
We’re teaming up with Adio Fok (@adioct) for a one-off Fai Chun Calligraphy & Clay workshop at Guildford Pottery.
Think red paper, lucky phrases, calm vibes, Japanese tea, and getting your hands on some clay.
What to expect:
– learn simple Chinese numbers + lucky phrases
– create 2–3 traditional Fai Chun to take home
– choose a handmade wheel-thrown cup
– cut and decorate your own clay coaster with calligraphy
– leave us to glaze + fire it (ready to collect in about a week)
No experience needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to slow down for a couple of hours.
