Screenprinting with Jule Mallet

  • New House Art Space Fays Passage Guildford, England, GU1 4SQ United Kingdom (map)

A gentle introduction to the joys of screenprint.

Using a silkscreen with a pre exposed image participants will be taught how to use a squeege and pull a print. Once dry this print can be embellished using meditative colouring in your own personal style.

Prints can be further embellished at home and can be enjoyed as an artwork for display or cut to create unique greetings cards or gift tags.

No experience neccesary and suited to all ages. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult.

We will be using acrylic inks which will stain clothing so dress accordingly.

During printing, Jule will be able to offer advice on how you can screenprint at home.

This is one of our free events for Mental Health Awareness Month. (Although if you can a donation to either us or the artist would be appreciated.)
