Route Overview

Starting from the Surrey Scholar statue in Guildford High Street, we'll make our way to the Chantry Woods, following a mix of woodland trails, country paths, and open green spaces. We’ll enjoy some great forest walks across the surrounding landscape before heading back into Guildford for coffee at Frida’s Coffee House.

As we walk, there'll be plenty of opportunities to chat, meet like-minded people, and enjoy a relaxed pace together. The route includes a few steady climbs but is designed to be sociable rather than challenging, with plenty of time to take in the scenery.

What to Bring

Comfortable walking boots or trail shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a bottle of water, any snacks you'd like along the way, and suncream if the forecast is warm. The route includes uneven woodland terrain, country paths, and a few moderate hills.
