Guildford Coffee Club: FairTrade

  • New House Art Space Fays Passage Guildford, England, GU1 4SQ United Kingdom (map)

Coffee Club is a relaxed and thoughtful Sunday gathering centred around coffee, connection, and mindful exploration. It brings together curious, open people who enjoy learning, conversation, and the simple fun of discovering something new.

Each Coffee Club session focuses on a different aspect of the coffee world, creating space for open dialogue and discovery. This might include exploring the story behind a particular roast, learning about brewing techniques, discussing coffee’s journey from origin to cup, hands-on discovery or simply tasting and reflecting together. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and informal, with time to engage at your own pace, share a laugh and truly connect with fellow coffee lovers.

This month we’re looking at: Fairtrade Coffee

The Coffee Club has a new focus this month and we’re rather chuffed to be teaming up with Fairtrade to bring you something truly special.

We’re hosting a session that goes far beyond the cup. It’s a dive into the story, the soil, and the incredible people behind every sip you take. Expect good coffee, great conversation, and plenty of those "I never knew that" moments along the way.

What we’re brewing up together:

🗺️ The Origin Journey – Ever traced a coffee bean back to its roots? We’re doing just that.

🫘 The Trade Story – A hands-on, visual look into how coffee moves around the world.

☕️ Tasting & Brewing – Fresh Fairtrade coffee brewed and sampled throughout the morning.

🌱 Farmer Perspectives – Stepping into their world to see the triumphs and the very real challenges they navigate.

Whether you geek out over grind size or just love a decent brew and good company, you’re so welcome here. This one is all about connection, curiosity, and community.
