Join us for a warm, inspiring, and thought-provoking coffee morning celebrating International Women’s Day 2026. Hosted at the creative hub New House Art Space in Guildford, this networking event brings together women, allies, creatives, leaders, and community members to connect, reflect, and take action.
Centred around the theme Rights. Justice. Action., the event will explore leadership, lived experience, creativity, and community impact. Together, we will reflect on the barriers women and girls continue to face, while highlighting the bridges being built through advocacy, art, politics, and grassroots action.
This is a relaxed but purposeful space for conversation, connection, and inspiration. Designed to spark ideas, encourage collaboration, and empower attendees to turn dialogue into action.
Guest Speakers will include:
Edith Weutonga - Edith WeUtonga Katiji is a prominent figure in the music industry with a diverse background. Currently pursuing an Executive MBA with the Quantic Business School, she demonstrates her commitment to personal and professional development. In
addition to her academic endeavours, she serves as the Vice President of the
International Federation of Musicians, a role that showcases her leadership skills and
commitment to global music initiatives. Moreover, she holds the prestigious position of President of the Zimbabwe Musicians Union, where she advocates for the rights and welfare of musicians in her country. Katiji's dedication to the music community has been recognized internationally, as evidenced by her recent award from Finland - the Nyrrki award (https://www.chronicle.co.zw/musicians-rights-advocate-edith-weutonga-wins-award/). This accolade further underscores her impactful contributions to the music industry and her influence on a global scale.
Liana Fricker - a strategist, community builder, and founder of Inspiration Space, helping small businesses access resources through education and connection. From fashion PR to creative agencies, burnout and motherhood sparked her entrepreneurial leap. She champions curiosity, generosity, and bold progress, democratizing business and empowering founders worldwide today globally.
